Programmatically Format Generated CodeDom Code - c#

How can I make sure the CS generated from code like the following is formatted nicely, i.e as if we pressed CTRL+K+D? It is C#
We are doing something along the lines of:

CodeDom is really for runtime code generation. If you are looking to generate code at design time or compile time, you should use T4 templates.
T4 lets you format the code output exactly how you want it to appear:

In Visual Studio, go to
Tool -> Opetions-Text Editor->C#-> Formatting
Ctrl-K-D will use the settings there to format the code.

Can't deserialize xml with element starting with 'μ'

I have an xml configuration file:

On a different PC, an earlier compiled version of the same application is running, and I am seemingly able to deserialize the xml to the class. But the developer who wrote it is not around.
As far as I know, the working code doing the deserialization should be the same as the current code:

Is it possible that there is something different in the compiled code which works to allow the 'µ' character to start an xml element name?
I had found a difference in the first line of the xml files between the PC's:

But I removed the encoding attribute but that only removed the red underline below the 'µ' for the new file open in the IDE. It didn't solve the serialization issue.
The schema files are identical for both PCs, if that matters.
Is it possible to allow the illegal character to start an xml node?
I decompiled System.Xml to find out why this exception might occur and I think I found an answer...

There is no way to crack into it. But it is possible to solve your problem without changing XML.
In long
Unfotunetly XML fifth edition is considerably differs in deifinition of characters which can be used to start tag names. Here is decompiled constants from System.Xml which proves my words:

As to why your problem occurs: s_NCStartName constant defines which characters can be used to start your name, and in fifth edition it is VERY short (you will not find 0xB5 part in new edition string), and there is no way around it. It is constant, hardcoded into System.Xml. Well, it is Microsoft, they don't care about backward compatability.
As to solution
You have four options:
Attach old System.Xml, which is in my opinion is worse solution, but easiest.
Preprosses your xml: clean it from invalid start name characters.
Blame Microsoft on task tracker about this: lose of backward compatability.
Use other serialization frameworks, for example Xml.Net

how to select the earliest time from a datetime database field?

My database has a table with an userId, an userName, a number field that saves an ID for each datetime and a datetime field that records every time the user logs-in and logs-out.
The thing is that logs comes from a fingerprint catcher, and the software that controls the logs is not programmed for avoiding duplicate logs. So, an user can put his finger and save a log-in/log-out hour each time.
My mission is to create a program that would split the datetime field's data in two new datetime fields in another database, one for the log-in hours and another for the log-outs. To achieve that I have to use the ID field that stores a 0 value for the log-ins and 1 to 5 for the log-outs, but I'm out of ideas on how to avoid the duplicates. And if you can give me a good hint on how to achieve the split in a smooth way, it would be lovely.
I have to use ms acces 2007, visual studio 2012 and c# language. Thanks in advance for your attention.

Well, I don't know how big this database of yours is and wether it would be possible to do a cron job every week/day to port the data into the new Database, but i'm going to try explain the concept of my solutions. It's up to you to implement it.
I would use the following method:
Read all the logs of one User into an array with the following fields (If there is too much data, select ranges of datetime with every pass)
Sort that array
-> This should give you changing rows in the RecordType (eg. 0, 2, 0, 1, 0, 5..)
Then write that array (Chronologicaly!) into the new database which has a Unique ID key.
Then you remove this data from the old database in order to not port the same data twice.
Run this every day/week with a cronjob.
It's up to you to implement it. But that is the strategy i would use.

First, the idea of taking two different types of data from a table, without the proper identification, is wrong. Different types of data should always be in different tables.
My boss (i do not know how), resulted to be very illustrated in the ways of programing, and he, after clarifying his needs, gave me a way to make this solution to work:

I am trying to export the drawing to save another drawing using "CopyBase" and "PasteClip" command. But it is does not work an error occurred. Can anyone tell how to i solve this..

With your edit, I'm assuming this is an external exe. With that in mind and some minor modifications to your code, I got this to work with no problems in a Console exe. Before the code a couple things about it:
I compiled using the 4.5 Framework. The COM references for .NET may have been updated with their .NET API counterparts, so make sure this is the case for you too.
Add a COM reference to "AutoCAD 2015 Type Library" there's one for each language package (choose axdb20enu.tlb, but I think in the end VS may select them all after it's added).
Add a COM reference to "AcObjClassImp 1.0 Type Library", choose the one for release 20 (AcObjClassImp20.tlb)
Add the using statement "using AutoCAD;" at the top with the rest.

Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word - Overwriting text in current document, how to stop this?

I am trying to add text to a document and format it appropriately.
It works as long as there is no text after the insertion point, but if there is then it overwrites it. Why is that?
Here is my code in which the text is written. Again, this works if there is nothing after it.

c# executed even when in false loop

I am trying to use a basic if else case, but the if is executed no matter what.
This is the code found in the backend, on the aspx.cs file.

This clearly indicates that the code inside the false part of the if statement was executed. Is there a reason for this? How can I fix this?
Note: The if (1==2) was added to simplify the example, it is normally a parameter
You can see this effect if your binaries and your PDB files are out of sync. If you are using the updated PDBs, but the old binaries, that would definitely explain this scenario.
The easiest way to fix this to to completely clean and rebuild everything. Deleting everything in your bin and obj folders for good measure. You should also restart the IIS instance you are using.
