I have an asp.net application where users can upload videos through the application to their youtube channel. I'm busy testing the application and have come accross a problem.
I've uploaded a test video through my application to my personal youtube account. When I authenticate myself through my application and try to update the metadata of my video that I uploaded I get an error back becasue the video is read-only.
How can I change the video not to be read-only so I can change the properties of it through my code or the api?
Thanks

We are creating a video hosting site using azure. Since the videos we intend to propagate are private mixed with public, we have decided to use encryption(Widevine and Playready) and a log in system. Since we also have public videos, we provided users to create an embed URL for the videos. We a We facilitated this using a document id and a view that is publicly accessible and this view will be in the embed URL. When a request with the valid document id reaches this view, we call another view with the credentials for decrypting that video. In this view the video is played using azure media player. All this is working in most sites but for some sites especially websites created using Wix,Strikingly
and Godaddy , it shows the below error:
Encrypted Media access has been blocked because of a Feature Policy applied to the current document. See this link for more details.
I have already added the allow="encrypted-media" permission in the embed code, but of no use.
I am also getting this error code - error: videojs: 2.2.4.1 (CODE:273678337 undefined) [object Object]
Has anyone run in to a similar situation and found a solution for the same? If so please do help.
My asp.net web application is some kind of "document managment system" saving files in the file system of the server.
The stored files are shown in an asp:ListView control and are downloadable as HTTP- Download. But I also want to drag&drop them into another browser window to upload the draged file to an cloud storeage like dropbox or google drive oslt.
I did some research and I didn't find any solution for this problem. I don't know if this is even possible. Maybe someone has an idea how this could be done?
I am pretty sure you can't have a web application doing that for you because it involves having your web language interacting with your computer, to move a local file to another window or tab in the browser.
It would be similar to have Javascript accessing your local files without the user "help". That is not allowed.
Rather than doing that, why not connect to Google Drive or Dropbox API and make the upload yourself?
In the piece of code where you trigger the download, you could also trigger an upload to the desired service.
Here are the API Documentation for the mentioned services:

I am building an app that has many movies trailer, and I am looking to support it by adding a video ad just before any video.
So, how to implement any video ad service, just like YouTube ads, to run before that videos.
Note, the app plays videos from the Web as direct links.
Thanks
The Microsoft Ad Client SDK supports video ads; this article has a walkthrough of how to use the Ad SDK to show them. You can manually show an ad before you let the user see the web video.
Windows 10 Anniversary Update also includes a new MediaBreak API specifically for showing video ads during other, longer-form video.
I have checked out tons of links for upload file directly in Google Drive.
I have created a sample application and it's working as expected, but the problem is it's requires the user to login with Google account.
I want to make an web application, where the user who's selecting file can directly upload it to example#gmail.com Google drive. So user don't have to signing with own google account.
How can I achieve a goal?
It's a great help if you have a sample code for this.
Thanks in Advance
As you said, Google Drive needs an account to authenticate and know where to upload the file.
If you want to upload it to a shared place, then create an account for that purpose and use those credentials to log in.
But for your case, if it's not a requirement to use google drive but just a cloud file storage, SmartFile is a lot better for that kind of programs, I'm using it in my own projects and works like a charm, check the Developer account, it gives you 100Gb of space and 200Gb of monthly traffic, and uses a very clean REST api (I have no relatinoship with them, just a happy user).

I am currently developing an video backup/upload app which requires me to programmatically access all videos on wp8; irrespective of whether they are on phone or sd card.
Is there any way by which we can programmatically access all videos in wp8 ?
Well I do know that there is a way to integrate the app with the video hub. I also know that it is possible to save files using the app specific Isolated Storage.
But my boss requires that..
1) Videos list should be displayed in the app itself without integrating with the video hub.
2) App should not use only the videos from the Isolated Storage because that will greatly restrict the apps functionality.
I mean can I get the same list of videos as is shown the inbuilt video hub? If there are no managed options then can it be done using native code ?
Sadly there is no API in Windows Phone 8 for accessing videos just like you can do it with photos.
The all you can do right now is vote for this API to be added in future version of Windows Phone here or here on WPdev UserVoice page.
But there might be an option to access stored videos using the File type associations: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windowsphone/develop/jj206987(v=vs.105).aspx
