Is there an open-source tool that generates HTML-based reports for unit test code coverage for Mono/C# projects running on Linux or Mac OS X on the same quality level that other platforms do (Node.js and Ruby have all excelent code coverage reporting tools)?
All the tools out there that I could find (like Opencover, NCover, etc) look outdated/obsolete or low quality.
Have you checked MonoCov (project page and GitHub)?
There is a new project from one of the mono developers: https://github.com/inorton/XR.Baboon
It appears to be still in heavy development, but it works for me.

Is there any open-source toolbox in C# Microsoft Visual Studio that auto-spell words like Microsoft Word does? I'd use DevExpress, its good but it's not free.
I really need it in my OCR Application. Please help me.
You can try SpellCheck Class in .NET

There are other attempts by hobbyist in codeproject you can take a look at it

Are there API tools within the core .Net framework (any version) which help in decompiling code?
Note: I am not looking for an external tool (such as reflector or dotPeek), I am coming from the direction of trying to build an external tool.
If you are looking for a decompiler with public source code, I believe ILSpy is what you are looking for.
ILSpy is an open source decompiler and you can download the entire Solution from the project's GitHub.

I have little amount of job to do in C#, and I'd like to avoid buying&installing Visual Studio for it.
Are there some lightweight IDE-s for C#? I think, the most important feature for me would be code completion.
Thanks in advance! Vitaly.
To be honest I use the express version of Visual Studio.
It does all the small stuff.
I think that Microsoft brought it in because they were losing the home and student developers.

Any recommendations for an open source (free) C# library/application for a C# Windows Application that could be used for: (a) creating license/product keys and (b) has library that can be used within the code to perform a check to see whether the entered license key is valid?
(I've seen other posts which cover commercial products, but here I'm looking for a ready-to-go tool with library that can be used in a C# windows application)
The .NET framework has a built-in licensing model (MSDN).
