MediaElement - set Source from Stream - c#

I'm developing WPF application that stores some sound files as array of bytes in database. I want play these files via MediaElement control. MediaElement has Source property but its type is Uri. Does anyone know if it is possible to convert array of bytes to Uri?

For the MediaServer I have used Simple C# Web Server with some modifications.
above could be made shorter using Reactive Extensions. I'll give a try on the same if this works for you.
Also we can make the media server generic to pass the id of the video in url and in return it will stream back the desired video from the DB

Convert onvif stream to rtsp address in c#

As a another solution i finally used Accord.net library to capture rtsp stream.

Why value does not fall within the expected range when setting Value Changed for Gatt Characteristic

I would like to keep on reading characteristic/set value changed event handlers for characteristics from my BLE 4.0 device, by using the ValueChanged callback in Universal Windows Platform C# in Visual Studio 2017.
I followed some tutorial from these sites: Damian Blog's Windows Universal with BLE, Bluetooth Gatt's Git Hub, Bluetooth Generic Attribute Profile - Heart Rate Service and Dr. Jukka's mobile Blog on BLE. All of them are using ValueChanged and I have tried to follow what they did.
Unfortunately, instead of ValueChanged being triggered, I receive the following error when using the ValueChanged callback.
System.ArgumentException: 'Value does not fall within the expected range.'
This line of code is producing the error:
characteristic.ValueChanged += Oncharacteristic_ValueChanged;

I tried to check Characteristic Properties before set value changed event handlers for my characteristics by following the answer given by rudi belt on SO.

Reading your efforts in the former question I can provide a working example, but first some explanation.
myDevice.ConnectionStatusChanged is not needed, it is only used to notice a connection is lost or connected. You have to connect to your device first and handle things in the connection method.
After you have succeeded in connecting you have to get the service that contains the characteristic you want to use for read, write, notify or indicate.
When you have selected the service You can get the characteristics of that service.
Select the characteristic by Uuid, or in my example with CharacteristicProperties.HasFlag.
This flag in my example is Notify.

The problem is that the Bluetooth Stick Reader never send a connection request, it just read the rfid device ID and sends it over the serial port.
So, I'm able to connect to the device but I don't know how to actively listen or read the incoming data.
Any help will be appreciated.
RFCOMM communication is Client/Server model. You need to define a server to broadcast the service and a client connected to the service.
As I saw from the code you post, it only includes the server side code which provides the service but there was no client connecting to service. Only when the client connected to the service, the ConnectionReceived event will be fired.
I have written a sample which host the RFCOMM service in a console application and consume the service in Windows Runtime App before (Code Sample).

As Jeffrey said, this is a client/Server model, but in my case the client doesn't have any logic, and is not capable to request any connection.

Add mp3 support to SFML.NET

I'm currently working on an audiobackend for my application, which runs on Mono/.NET. Therefore I found, that SFML is plattformindependent, so it suits. But there is no mp3 support because of licensing.
So I wanted to add up the mp3 capability for myself in C#. I use SFML.Net 2.1 with Mp3Sharp (http://www.robburke.net/mle/mp3sharp/). At first I tried this:

When I try now this:
musicStream = new SFMLMp3Stream();
musicStream.openFromFile(this.objProgram.getObjCuesheet().getAudiofilePath(true));
music = new Music(musicStream);
I get the compiler error, that Music can not be initiatet from SFMLMp3Stream (because it is no string and no System.IO.Stream. How can I extend SFML for Mp3 usage? Has anybody done this so far?

Stream for sending byte-arrays and strings (for network)

I'm searching for a Streamclass which contains:
- a method for sending/receiving a byte-array
- a method for sending/receiving a string
The only Class I've found was NetworkStream. But the disadvantage with the NetworkStream-Class is, that if i want sending a string, i must befor convert this string into a byte-array and send this byte-array, because there is no method for sending strings directly.
And on the other side classes like Streamwriter have methods for sending/receiving strings, but there have no methods for sending/receiving a byte-array.
And if i try to combine these two Streamclasses like this:
TcpClient clientConnection = new TcpClient();
NetworkStream nws = clientConnection.GetStream();
StreamWriter sw = new StreamWriter(nws);
sw.writeLine("ABC");
sw.Flush();
nws.Write(byteArray, 0, lengthToSend);
i get a lot of strange errors (like byteArray will not receive on the other side completly), because i'm using here the same one stream in two different ways.
So, must i used NetworkStream-Class for my plan or exists there a better way?
I had the same problem,and the point is that the other side doesnt know what you are sending byte array or string so what i did is putting a header for each msg specially when dealing with serious server/client application coz you will have multiple data (user info, requesting info,replying info .. etc)
i am using streamwriter to send and streamreader to receive but i am also using threads
the connection remains open as long as the client is connected so i declare them once

i know its kinda messy and not the perfect way to do it , but it works for me
and remember that at the other side when sending something you need to add the packet type and subtype , or just any header with any splitter if u doin something simple
Finally : i think using Sockets and packets would be much easier if u are sending small packets length
