I made a Windows app and done changes to it but when I start debug(run) the app, following error occurred can someone help please.
Error 1 Could not write to output file 'c:\Users\MuhammadAshbal\Documents\Visual Studio 2012\Projects\Hotel\Hotel\obj\Debug\intermediatexaml\Hotel.exe' -- 'Access is denied. ' c:\users\muhammadashbal\documents\visual studio 2012\Projects\Hotel\Hotel\CSC Hotel
I tried many ways but in vain.
Try below:
a) Open VS as administrator and then build and run.
b) open project folder, check property of folder, un-check read only option and then try building solution.

We had a Jenkins job running without issues for a couple of months now but recently it started failing.
It has this error when running form Jenkins:
CSC : error CS7028: Error signing output with public key from container 'Container_ID' -- The file exists. [lgw0hqij.tmp_proj]
It seems to rename the file every time.
I have logged into the host and executed as the user but it gives no error when running normally.
Once I run the user as an administrator, it starts giving the issue.
Running the application from Visual Studio does not give an issue at all!
I have tried running Jenkins as a LocalService as well as a lower privileged user, but same result.
I have also followed this, but doesn't seem to help.
I'm running out of ideas
EDIT
For anyone facing the same issue in the future. This error is linked to the user account temp folder
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp
Once you clear this folder, your msbuild should be working fine

lately I have encountered a following problem. Azure Function that is run in Visual Studio always throws an exception:
System.IO.IOException HResult=0x80131620 Message=Error loading

The file that is supposedly missing is at its place of course. I've tried to reinstall Azure Function Tools and Visual Studio and nothing helped. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
EDIT1:
The problem seems to be caused by non-english characters in the path to the library. I've just created another account without them and suddenly everything started to work.
from the point that the root cause of error is because of the non-english characters in the path to the library, you can consider to rename path of your user profile.
To do so, here is the steps
Log out and login with another Administrator user to your PC
open command prompt by CTRL + R then type cmd
type wmic useraccount get name, sid and get SID of your profile
type regedit under start menu, right click on it and select Run as Administrator
Go under Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList\YOUR_SID_HERE
Double Click on ProfileImagePath and change the value data according to your need (you can close Registry Editor)
go under USER PROFILES folder (%USERPROFILE%\..\) and change the path of your user profile accordingly
Restart your computer
Release/Debug ARM deploy to device isn't possible. But the build succeeds.
I get following exception:
Severity Code Description Project File Line Error Error : DEP6810 :
MdilXapCompile.exe failed with error code 2001. See log file
'C:\Users..\obj\ARM\Debug\MDIL\MDILXapCompileLog.txt' for more
details.
MDILXapCompileLog.txt:
CrossGen failed Error processing assembly
C:\Users...\obj\ARM\Debug\MSIL\Microsoft.Band.dll Raw error code:

Google lead me to following solution:
Close Visual Studio
Navigate to YourSolution/Packages/
Delete everything except packages.config
Reopen the solution in Visual Studio
Right click on solution and select "Manage Nuget Packages"
Click the "Restore" button that appears at the top of the dialog
window
Doesn't work for me. Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance
If WP 8.1, uninstall the app and run deploy, it worked for me.
When you deploy the Device make sure to select Debug instead of Release. If you set to Release the app will not be deployed and the above error will occur.
Select Debug and set the deployment destination as Device. Unlock the phone and run. It will work.
i created a program in c# and used SQL server 2008 as database and installshield for program .exe package
everything works fine i mean program can be installed normally and there is no error in database or in setup
but when i try to open program it gives the following error(program signature) which i took screenshot of error
i use dotNetBar.dll in my project and its included in setup folder
i changed path of installation and database folder but still the same error
Error screenshot part 1:
Error screenshot part 2:
please help.
The error is the FileNotFoundException, your program is trying to open a file that's not there and you're not handling it in the code.
Have you copied everything?
I've created an empty VSTO solution with an Excel 2007 Project. When I build the solution I get this error:
Error 1 An error occurred while
attempting to persist the data. The
message returned is: Could not find
the add-in deployment cache file,
"C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft
Shared\VSTA\Pipeline\PipelineSegments.store".
Please run AddInStore.Update or
Rebuild (or run AddInUtil.exe on the
command line). Also, ensure your code
has permission to read this file.
I've googled to no avail. Any ideas?
Thanks
