I have been fiddling with the Veridis sdk 5.0. I need to get the ANSI 378 template from a fingerprint image file. Here is a sample code for that.

However, the app crashes with ntdll heap corruption error after executing the InstallLicense line. If I omit that, I get Veridis.Biometric.BiometricException "Not started (Error #-4)" from BiometricTemplate constructor.
Can someone tell me what is going on here? I have the same problem while installing license with the dot net sample that comes with it. However, the demo application inside veridis sdk package does not give any error while installing the license.
I believe you forgot to call the static function BiometricCapture.StartSDK(eventListener)
You also will need a class that inherit from ICaptureListener. That new class will be your Event listener.

I'm trying to play a HDHomeRun Connect Video source from a url in the following format: http://x.x.x.x:xxxx/auto/v4.1. This video source is an MPEG2 video encoding and AC3 audio encoding.
I've tried using the Samsung Tizen.TV .NET sample with the following source but the video never plays.

The player state gets stuck in preparing, and the await _player.PrepareAsync() call never finishes. It is worth noting that I'm using the Tizen Samsung TV Emulator. Do I need to transcode the stream from the HDHomeRun to be playable? Are there any other measures I might be missing for the Video to play?
Ultimately, the Display property of the player wasn't being set correctly. The property that worked for me (found from investigating the JuvoPlayer code was this:

When you are to develop a Tizen .NET application, please be aware of which UI framework your project is targetted for among 3 different types: Xamarin.Forms, (pure) ElmSharp, and Tizen.NUI.
Unless your project is based on the Tizen.NUI framework, you shouldn't use Tizen.NUI.Window.Instance and types in Tizen.NUI namespace in any case. Instead, you will have to use types of ElmSharp or Xamarin.Forms.Platform.Tizen namespace for platform-specific code in your application.
Since the internal implementation of Xamarin.Forms for Tizen is based on ElmSharp, FormsApplication.MainWindow will return a ElmSharp.Window instance which can be used to instantiate a Tizen.Multimedia.Display object. That's why the code in your answer worked.

I might be a bit late, but found the cause and the solution.
After waiting for the .Fit() method to 'run' for about 30 minutes, it finally gave me the following error:
Apparently it's trying to download the ResNet model from a remote server. Why this is not documented, and why this is being done is the Fit() method is beyond me...
Anyways, the suggested solution is to download the meta file from here:
https://aka.ms/mlnet-resources/meta/resnet_v2_101_299.meta
Then copy the file to the following folder:
C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Temp\MLNET\
Once the file is copied, run your app again, it should be working now.
Try to use .NET Core SDK, not .NET FrameWork.

I'm trying to use the dll version of ghost script in an azure web app. It has worked before, but now I start getting these errors when using Ghostscript.
An error occured when call to 'gsapi_new_instance' is made: -100
I'm using Ghostscript.NET for working with Ghostscript.
From reading other posts here, it could be because of missing permissions. But I'm not sure which permissions I'm missing.
According to your description, I have created a test demo using Ghostscript.NET with "gsdll32.dll" and published the application to azure. It works well(I don't change any setting).
As you said, it worked well before. I think this error is not related with your permissions. I suggest you could follow below step to troubleshoot the application.
1.Use remote debug to check the gsdll32.dll path is right in your application code
2.Create a new app web app and published the application to it and test again.

My basic problem was converting a .docx file to .pdf. The problem would be solved incase I was allowed to use Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.dll, which i am not since the server will not have MS Office installed. So I needed a free/open-source library that would allow me to do so. And i came across docx4j.NET.

As Jeroen (of IKVM fame) has explained, when there is no main assembly (eg in an ASP.NET application), the IKVM class loader can't find your assembly when the code is trying to dynamically load a class.
So you'll want to add not just:
ikvm.runtime.Startup.addBootClassPathAssembly(

I'm trying to get my FO file to show an external image upon transforming it to PDF (or RTF for that matter, but I'm not sure whether RTFs are even capable of displaying images (they are)) with FOP, but I can't seem to get it working. (The question asked here is different than mine.)
I am using IKVM 0.46.0.1 and have compiled a FOP 1.0 dll to put in .NET; this code worked fine when I didn't try to add images:

However, when I (or rather a DocBook2FO transformation) added the following code:

into the FO file, the image did not show. I read through a bit of the FAQ on Apache's site, which says:
3.3. Why is my graphic not rendered?
Most commonly, the external file is not being found by FOP. Check the

Empty or wrong baseDir setting.
Spelling errors in the file name (including using the wrong case).

Other options did not seem to be my case (mainly for the reason below - "The Weird Part"). I tried this:

The Weird Part
When I use the command-line implementation of FOP, it works fine and displays my image with no problem. (I don't want to go the run-command-line-from-program route, because I don't want to force the users to install Java AND the .NET framework when they want to use my program.)
The png file is generated from GDI+ from within my application (using Bitmap.Save). I also tried different png files, but none of them worked for me.
Is there anything I might be missing?

So I might have figured out why it didn't work. I put some time into studying the code (before I basically just copypasted it without thinking about it much). The problem is indeed in the wrong basedir setting.
The key is in this chunk of code:

What happens here is an identity transformation, which routes its own result into an instance of FOP I've created before. This effectively changes the basedir of the routed FO into that of the application's executable. I have yet to figure out how to do this without a transformation and route my input directly into FOP, but for the moment I worked around this by copying my images into the executable's directory.
Which is where another problem came in. Now whenever I try to execute the code, I get an exception at the line that says transformer.transform(src, res);, which confuses the pants out of me, because it doesn't say anything. The ExceptionHelper says:
java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError was caught
and there is no inner exception or exception message. I know this is hard to debug just from what I wrote, but I'm hoping there might be an easy fix.
Also, this e-mail seems vaguely related but there is no answer to it.
UPDATE2
Finally, after a few sleepless nights, I managed to get it working with one of the simplest ways possible.
I updated IKVM, compiled fop with the new version and replaced the IKVM references with the new dlls. The error no longer occurs and my image renders fine.

I'm using very similar code, although without the FOUserAgent, Resolvers, etc. and it works perfectly.
Did you try setting the src attribute in the XSLT without the url() function?
What might help you diagnose the problem further are the following statements:
