Using C# to create objects parsing XML - c#

I've spent 1.5 days trying to create an object parsing XML:

</EnvelopeStatus>
RecipientStatuses can contain many RecipientStatus. Inside of RecipientStatus there is a collection of CustomFields. Ideally, the single CustomField would move up to same level as Type, Email, UserName, etc.
Status, ID are under EnvelopeStatus, which also contain a collection of CustomFields. The only node really needed in this collection is 'Value' node, so theoretically, Value could move up to same level as Status and Id.
I have tried many different things and am back to square one. Is there a way to parse this xml, so that properties in these classes are set:

You can create Site object and access GetRecycleSiteUrl method by passing respective parameter values.

This code is pretty much identical to the method I am using to fill a companies details, which works no problem. Here is the PeopleModel I am using to build a person.

Although the companies method has worked fine previously, I am now getting the following error when I try to build my project after implementing the People code: Cannot initialize type 'PeopleModel' with a collection initializer because it does not implement 'System.Collections.IEnumerable'
I really am at a lost cause with this as it is working in an almost identical method for a Company.

Get Collections from object using reflection and getCount (.net 4)

I have a requirement to reflect on a object get all properties that are collections and
1)GetCount for each collection
2)GetTotalCount (allCollectionCount)
3)Call a method with this collection.
Below is what I have done so far with a made up noddy structure for semplicity.
I am stuck in how to call this method and how to get count for collection.
Any suggestions?

Now I get a compile error on the return; saying that An object of a type convertible to 'System.Collections.Generic.List<EvryCardManagement.Common.edbService>' is required
and in the class that should call this method, I want to do something like:
edb_service = Common.populateEDBService("CustomerUpdate.xml");
but I get an error Cannot implicitly convert type 'System.Collections.Generic.List<EvryCardManagement.Common.edbService>' to 'System.Collections.Generic.List<EvryCardManagement.CustomerUpdate.edbService>'
So firstly how should I return the list from my generic method and how should I call it to return the list populated with the configuration data?
It sounds like you have your class edbService defined in two namespaces,
EvryCardManagement.Common and
EvryCardManagement.CustomerUpdate
I would suggest defining it in only EvryCardManagement.Common and have everything reference it from there.

parse xml children nodes

What is the best way to parse XML children nodes into a specific list? This is a small example of the XML.

I want to create a list or something that will be called the Area Name and hold the information of the Output Name and IntegrationID. So I can call the list and pull out the Output Name and IntegrationID.
I can create a list of all Area Names and then a list of Outputs but cannot figure out how to create a list that will be called "Grey Bathroom" and hold the output "Light/Exhaust Fan" with an ID of 46.

The example uses an anonymous type. You could (and I warmly advice you to) use your own.
