How to use get_video_info Youtube - c#

I'm trying to develop a Youtube downloader.I need video mp4 stream urls and im trying to use get_video info check my source code

I am developing one application where I need capture basic detail like title, description and images of website based on url provided by user.
But user may be enter www.google.com insted of http://www.google.com but C#.net code failed to retrieve data for "www.google.com" through below code

You should use webrequest instead.

However in Windows 8, the last 2 lines which are code to close the connection (I assume), detected error. It works fine without closing the connection, though, but what are the odds? Why do we have to close the connection? What could go wrong if I don't? What do "closing connection" even mean?

If you are developing for Windows 8, you should consider using asynchronous methods to provide for a better user experience and it is the recommend new standard. Your code would then look like:

Maybe they've deprecated close() in the latest API. This should work:

Reading remote file [C#]

I am trying to read a remote file using HttpWebRequest in a C# Console Application. But for some reason the request is empty - it never finds the URL.
This is my code:

HttpWebResponse response = (HttpWebResponse)request.GetResponse();
How come this is not possible?
The file only contains a string. Nothing more!

How are you reading the response data? Does it come back as successful but empty, or is there an error status?
If that doesn't help, try Wireshark, which will let you see what's happening at the network level.
Also, consider using WebClient instead of WebRequest - it does make it incredibly easy when you don't need to do anything sophisticated:

You have to get the response stream and read the data out of that. Here's a function I wrote for one project that does just that:

You might want to try a GET request first because it's a little simpler (you will only need to POST for wikipedia login). For example, try to simulate this request:

Edit: The other problem he was experiencing on the POST request was, The exception is : The remote server returned an error: (417) Expectation failed. It can be solved by setting:
System.Net.ServicePointManager.Expect100Continue = false;
(This is from: HTTP POST Returns Error: 417 "Expectation Failed.")

You seem to be pushing the input data on HTTP POST, but it seems you should use HTTP GET.
