After executing the above code an exception shows:
The INSERT INTO statement contains the following unknown field name:
'id'. Make sure you have typed the name correctly, and try the

if you omit the column specifications while inserting, it works fine:

ADO.NET + T-SQL Invoke scalar function from another DB?

I have an SQL script select [master].[dbo].sp_SearchDuplicatedAddress('','','','') that I can invoke successfully from management studio. The function sp_SearchDuplicatedAddress exists in master database and is accessible by the logged user, no problem here. The problem arises when I try to execute that SQL script from ADO.Net I get the following error:
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: 'Cannot find either column "master" or the user-defined function or aggregate "master.dbo.sp_SearchDuplicatedAddress", or the name is ambiguous.'
And here's the code of sample app:

how insert new row in sql server using sqlcommandbuilder object

There is one table called Student in Sql where 4 columns are defined. First column is ID which auto incremented by identity. When I try to insert data in sql then i get the following error :

Your insert syntax is incorrect. Assuming your ID is the primary key (identity), your insert statement should be like:
string sqlQuery = "insert into Student (StudentName, Gender, Studentmarks) values (#StudentName, #Gender, #Studentmarks)";
The ID will automatically be inserted and auto-incremented with the other values you are passing.
You should clean up your code a bit and put your SqlConnection in using block so its properly disposed.

And if you are going to add parameters to your command that way, you need to use AddWithValue, but be aware of the possibility of the wrong implicit type conversion.
Example:

How to insert a datatable to an access database in C#

I have 2 table in an access database
now I want to select from one table and insert them into another one.

Your error is caused by the fact that you are concatenating the ItemArray property of a DataRow to a string. In this case the ItemArray (that is an instance of an object[]) has no method that automatically produces a string from its values and thus returns the class name as a string "object[]" but of course this produces the meaningless sql string

However, the SELECT ... INTO statement creates the target table but gives error if the target table already exists. To solve this problem we need to discover if the target exists. If it doesn't exist we use the first SELECT ... INTO query, otherwise we use a INSERT INTO ..... SELECT

Here we have two different queries, the first one create the SelectedFeeds table as before, the second one appends into that table.
To discover if the target table has already been created I call Connection.GetSchema to retrieve a datatable (schema) where there is a row if the table SelectedFeeds exists or no row if there is no such table.
At this point I set the OleDbCommand with the correct statement to execute.

If record exists dont insert

I'm trying something out but cant figure it out. So what i'm trying is that if the user inputs something inside txtISN and it already exists inside of the database, the record wont be inserted. I also want a error msg to pop up when a record wasnt inserted and when a record is inserted I want an message to pop up saying that the record was inserted succesfully.

DUAL is like a dummy table that you can use to SELECT from.
Let the database take care of this using a unique constraint/index:
alter table bes_s add constraint unq_bes_ISN unique (ISN);
This will cause the database to generate an error if a duplicate ISN is inserted. You can put one or more columns for the unique constraint (in case this single column is not the exact definition of uniqueness).

How to Insert Rows to Table Object Inside an Excel Sheet?

I have difficulties trying to insert rows into an existing table object. Here is my code snippet:

I've also tried inserting data inside a table object like so:

But I get an error:
The Microsoft Access database engine could not find the object 'MyTable'. Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and the path name correctly. If 'MyTable' is not a local object, check your network connection or contact the server administrator.
As you can see, table with a name MyTable does exist. I would be very grateful if someone can shed some light on this mystery.
If you are using the Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB provider, then be aware that it doesn't support a named range. You need to provide the name of the sheet [Sheet1$] or the name of the sheet followed by the range [Sheet1$A1:P7928].
If the range is not provided, it will then define the table as the used range, which may contains empty rows.
One way to deal with empty rows would be to delete them, but the driver doesn't support the DELETE operation.
Another way is to first count the number of rows with a non empty Id and then use the result to define the range of the table for the INSERT statement:

If you execute this code:

you will see 7938 (last row number on your screenshot). And when you insert new row, it inserted at 7939 position. Empty content in (7929, 7930, ...) rows are ignored, because excel knows that last number is 7938.
Solutions:
You must delete all rows after 7928 in excel file.
You must insert on specific position.
I'm not sure Access C# works the same as Excel, but this worked on a spreadsheet for me. Maybe it could help you?
